We have a one off opportunity to swap the Dunlop Grandtrec AT22 tyres which come as standard on brand new 2006 LC 100 TD with any AT tyre we like at no extra cost.

We will be towing a 2600kg off road full van across roads like the Gibb River Rd & Chambers Pillar Rd. We had lots of trouble with Coopers with our previous rig and won't consider wasting money on those.

Has any one any experience of BGF or Bridgestone ATs or any other brand. How would you compare them to the Dunlop AT22s?

Many thanks for your help

the iggest problem out here in the alicesprings area is they surface the secondry roads with a bulldusty/rocky compound. once these roads get wear on them the little rocks come out and sit on the surface of the road. its these little rocks that get stuck between the lugs and destroy the tyres. bridgestone tyres seem to hold up the best to these conditions. alot of people are starting to run sava at's now. havent heard any problems with them plus they are a cheap tyre.

Thanks. That's the first advice I've received about Bridgestones. Glad to hear it. We replaced two punctured Coopers on our Pajero with Bridgestones and our troubles stopped.
