Ok, went out to test the new rear elocker, it was f$%king unreal, and what everybody says about them been slow, its all bull, it worked a treat, both locking and unlocking :D, want front elocker now

Now to the real deal, we were doing some low range stuff, and all of a sudden i notice the low/high range stick in the high range position , so tried moving it back and forth, and it was free moving, (you could still feel something was moving with it though), and transfer would not change to high range, after about 5minutes of fiddling it managed to shift to high range, so left it in high and got out straight away, (offroad in high, not funny I tell ya ), and went home.

I dont have time yet to check anything, but does anybody know if it is just a problem with the linkage or is it something internal?

Cheers

I agree with the lockers, I've never had any drama with mine it's just that sometime when I'm climbing something up a steep track and I want to turn I go to turn off the front one it can take a few meters or so to turn off, but thats under load!!! No drama with the rear one!!!

As for the transfer thing it sounds like it could be a linkage problem but its hard to tell without seeing it, all I could recommend is to climb underneith and get someone to move the stumpy lever for you and have a look and see!!!:thumb:

It was just the links balljoint that had lost a nut and it popped off :waycool:
