Just wondering if anyone knows anything about leaking cars. I had a new windscren fitted in Feb. and I thought it was leaking. The windscreen mob checked it over and said it was ok. After the big rain we had the other night there was a big wet patch in the usual place( passenger side near the trans. tunnel.) and the dealer is saying that something might be leaking under the dash. Water coming in through the vents or something. I am going to the windscreen guys tomorrow to check again. Just wondering if anyone knows what to look for and how to fix it. I have only owned a 4WD for a few months and am starting to become addicted to it. Want to spend all the money I dont have on it. Probably sounds familiar to everyone. Thanks very much.

If it wasn't leaking before the screen was fitted, it's because of the screen now, When the new screen was fitted where the side windows half way down, if not get them to take it off and refix it. This is because when your side windows are up the windscreen area is slithly smaller , when the windows are down greater area, that's when the seal should be put on to allow the window to hog and sag without breaking the seal

Thanks for the reply mate. Just went down there and the dealer was told to replace a leaking grommit under the windscreen. Thats where all the water is coming in. Now just have to get the dealer to replace under warranty.
