Differences between early and late model 2F engines

[FJ40.]

Hi i have recently bought a gasket kit for my car (an early 2F) FJ40 . Only to realize that the kit is for 2F engines between 1980 and 1985..
Theirfore i ask..
What are the main differences between the later models and the earlier model engines?


So far all i know is
- The rocker cover is different... But only in design (asthetics) not in shape i think??
- Some had Smog gear and some didn't
