OK, what do people think of the seats, went to Toonlangi on the weekend (saturday) and my butt didn't wake up until Sunday night, just go with some foam or swap them out

i think the seats are really comfy.. bit less loungy than a new falcon though, but that could have been my ass imprint of 90000ks in 18 months

ive done several, several hour trips in the triton and find them very good

My drivers side is on the way out next month, I'm getting something a little more comfortable. I have sat in a few seats and the aftermarket seats are SO GOOD!!

I just drove from Newcastle to Noosa last night, back is a bit tender, but I should be right, I'm hoping they soften up a tad bit....

Tomorrow I head to Mt Isa, then back home to Katherine on Sunday....

I've had my truck for exactly 2 weeks to the day and I've already done 3500km's, by the time I get to Katherine I'll almost be due for a 7500km oil change.

Yep, I've clicked 10,000klm and my lower back and the std ML drivers seat still don't see eye to eye.
I will have to look at aftermarket also...

dammit.
another thing to add to my wish-list. This truck is going to owe me 60k by the time it's "finished"

Slot, could you keep us posted on your progress re after-market seats?

Thanks.

Any news here? My Triton arrives any day now; I test drove all the current model diesel dualcabs and the Triton has the worst driver's seat IMHO (in an otherwise near perfect vehicle), but that wasn't enough to prevent me from ordering one :D

Hi - got my new Triton yesterday - first job when it got home, was putting some packers under the front seat rails to try & get some thigh support.
Does make a differance guys..........

Cheers - P.

I don't think the MKs are that crash hot either. Mainly lower back for me.

Thanks High Country. I had a look at mine this morning, but the front threads aren't long enough to put more 4-5mm packing underneath the rails - I would like more angle than what I have been able to achieve by doing this

Cheers
