hilux body (price and compatibility)

has anyone had to buy a whole hilux cab, (just the body)? how much did it set you back?$$ Im just thinking about a change and wouldnt mind getting a whole extra cab (89-96) and spraying it while its not on the chassis then swap it with my cab.

and this way i can re-use my doors, guards, bonnet etc. then do a custom shortie tray

As far as I know, it won't just bolt straight in, unless it's the same variant. - Xtra cab may not bolt to Dual cab chassis etc.

yeh i was thinking maybe just the extra cab would be different because of the ifs, but theres nothing stopping me making new body mounts.

Extra cab chassis and duel cab chassis are the same thing in mine any way (84)
finding a good extra cab wont be easy either not too many around
