I've heard that the sliding rear windows and frames on a GQ that rust out can be replaced by a solid glass and new rubber that fits straight into the body.
If anyone knows who in the Newcastle area can do this, I'd like to get it done.
Thanks

I reaplaced mine sliding windows with one piece glass and rubbers from a DX(??) model Patrol. From meory it was a 5 seater model and I got the glass and rubbers from a wrecker.

5 seater models had non-sliding windows for the cargo area.

But if you look at buying them from someone wrecking a vehicle that's not too close to home, I'm having no end of trouble trying to get those windows and rubbers carried by anyone!! They want all sorts of things done to make it safe, and STILL charge like wounded bulls!!
So if you buy them off a wreck, make sure that they aren't too far away, you might hafta go collect them!
