Hiclone? Who's fitted one to a 22r Lux or 4runner

Can anyone help? I have just fitted a Hiclone to my 4runner 22r and the fuel economy has gotten worse not better, I have spoken to a fool at Fuelsaver.com and he is telling me that the EGR system is no good or maybe now that I have fitted the Hilcone that the float level in the carb is incorrect or maybe my needle and seat requires replacing. If someone has fitted one and got better results please let me no if you had to do anything extra.

you should have read a few threads on this site before buying a hiclown, they dont work, probably using more fuel cos of the restriction in your intake system

my dad bought me one for my 22r, got 380k's outta a tank, the same as what i was getting without the hiclone. I got extractors put on and i was getting an extra 50k's+ out of a tank

Hmm, so it sounds better to spend money on extractors rather than some some product that works for about 15% of people.
