i'll be interested to see how these go. I believe to remain legal they have to clamp to the chassis. most people seem to go for a big U the goes around teh chassis with a bolt to clampit it on top.
check out boofs hilux thread, i think he has just finished some steps/sliders.

I have some Ali sidesteps from Global. Not the toughest in the world but have done the job for me to this point.

One of the drivers from work gave me a set of steps to fit to his rodeo the other day. It turns out they are the factory fitted items off a dual cab hilux, a slight trim and new brackets should have them fitted snugly in place.

I had some custom made for my R9. Mine are more so sliders rather than steps, but any fabricator can make them how you want. I wanted mine for maximum clearence as i don't any dramas getting in and out.

hi guys, dont know if anyone still cares but i have the 'kingsley integra steps' fitted to mine. look good and all that but they're not too tough. just a light tap and the brackets bend out of place and the nuts rip through the aluminium. can't beat the steel, spose they're not rock sliders though.
