Hows it goin?

I am in the market for an in car turn by turn navi system. It must be updatable, and expandable, if possible have the ability to load into it outback maps, similar to the Magellan topo maps. I would love to hear from others that have bought units. Whether you are happy or unhappy with how they work.

Any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated as I have no idea about this sort of thing.

Get a PDA that has bluetooth. Connect it to a bluetooth GPS receiver, get a copy of either tomtom or Destinator for turn by turn and get a copy of Oziexplorer for outback maps.

And do a search on the toolbar above and you will find lots of threads on the subject. Always pays to do this first as almost every day some one asks the very same question without looking at any of the heaps of posts on the subject. Lastly I agree with Emo
