Birdsville Area maps

G'day fella's,

does anyone have or know of somewhere i can get digital maps of the birdsville area, and the birdsville track.

What scale do you need? I can send some your way tonight if you like. Are you just doing the BT and Birdsville, if so the Great Desert Track maps are all you'll need.

I've got some 1:250K maps if they're of any use. (They're raster files I think, for use in Oziexplorer).

Patrolman Pat - If you've got larger scale ones of Birdsville/Oodnadataa/Strez tracks I'd love to get a copy. Leaving on Saturday! :D

You can create and download 250k maps at http://www.ga.gov.au/mapconnect
I think if you use the ECW raster, they'll work with OziExplorer after calibrating.

Leaving home on the 25th august, heading to broken hill and tibooburra, innaminka, and arriving in birdsville on the thursday before the races. Then after the races, heading out to big red, poepels corner, then down the track, maybe the flinders if we have time, then home again.
