Has anybody used or got one of these, are they any good?

Mate, I had one and it died 4 weeks after I got it. Lost it for 2 weeks when it went into for repair. Then got it back and it dies again after 2 weeks!
That was it!
Gave it back to the shop and upgraded to the nuvi 660. Haven't look back!
The problem with the 510 was "dry solder" What crap!

I got one for 7 months now. works great no problem with it.
Not much features , but works simple and reliable
Try to compare with the tomtom one XL

I've got one too. It gets used daily for work and no problems in the 6 months i've had it. The battery life is 8 hrs compared to most others which only last for 2-3 hrs which was a big selling point for me. I'd buy another one easily.

This thing is farking awsom, it tells you where the petrol stations, hotels, hospitals, even where the local Maccas is.

Highly recommend if traveling into unknow capital cities.
