On Saturday night @ the Alberton boat ramp ( Beenliegh area) between the hours of 18.30 - 21.30 Some low lifes who like to pray on other peoples hard earned broke into my vehicle , smashed LH front window , trashed my car took everything not bolted down , but especially my 80ltr Stainless Steel Engel
model ss80f & all associated wiring which they cut out , has been reported to Beenliegh Police ,If anyone spots one for sale with all associated wiring & the plug eng looks like it's been cut off pls send me a pm ............ Mal:mad:

Thanks for the support guys ; From what i've been told that on that particular night at least 15 vechicles got hit at various ramps in the area including a secure private ramp (this what i was told) .............. Mal

Get yourself and a good baseball bat and sit that area out through the times your gear got knocked off.

sorry to say police are not very good at retrieving stolen property,as a matter of fact they do not have the time or resources to chase criminals .

Just out of interest is your car insured ? and if so did you have the engel listed as a extra with the car ? people add their $1000 sound systems to insurance why not add the engel ?

cause the problem with the engel and i found this with racqw trying to ensure my GPS is that it counts as a non permanent fixed or removable item and therefor they wont insure it

Sorry to hear Cruiser, but your not alone my bro and his mate went fishing the other week from I am pretty sure the same boat ramp and when they returned His cruiser had been broken into and all his radios cd,s wallets etc were stolen and the dirty mongrels wrecked hie dash ripping everything out. Two or three other cars copped the same that day too. Witnesses said a red Honda Prelude with young Rsols in it was lurking around. Might be connected. Hope your luch changes in getting your gear back mate !!

Gentleman Yes my car was insured & yes they did replace my fridge after a couple of disscussions & producing proof of purchase they replaced to the value of original invoice....... Still haven't heard from the police but they did tell me not to hold my breath as the only way they would recover the items is if they found them in a raid , police have the serial numbers & a good description ..............
