Looks Great I especially like the color, Don't think I could cut my cruiser up though Unless body damaged , Then I'd have to get a trailer when we go away as the bakc always loaded up with grog, Oh I mean camping gear.

Knowing you the new machine won't get a V8, cause by the time you get round to install it the vehicle will only be good to use as a mud bomb.
Can we run a book on the first dent.
Have a good one,

Utedriver,
That 80 you mentioned belongs to a custom panel shop in Lilydale. Don't know what but definitely a V8 of some sort under the hood. They look awesome done!

Just thought i would show you these in case you havent seen them on my thread. Went for a wheel with him and a few others, its double locked and well lifted and i think it was getting taller again soon. Massive intercooler up front, IMO though the blue on yours is outstanding. He is a mate of outalux on here. I think he's gonna comp it.

05-07-2007, 08:48 AM
yeah mate in regards to comping/or not it is a big decision hey. If you want to enjoy your rig its a no, but if you have a specific comp truck its full steam ahead. I think alot of the guys right into the comps have second rigs to play in also.

gota finish off what i all ready have for it before i start new projects... hopefully will get spare tyre and water tank mounted under tray this weekend ,then have to get tray powdercoated so it stops looking so puss as it does now.. then slider steps to stop more damage (and so my short ass misses can get in and out of it)

well why does this happen to me at the worst time.. i was making my way home from brisbane last night in that downpour of rain we got in southeast queensland at midnight when bang no drive.. mananaged to roll to the side of the highway north of gympie .. found my beloved 80 has decided to spit a rear axle 1 am friday morning in the dark, raining, cold stuff all tools, and been awake for 21 hours ...not happy ... only thing to do was remove axle lock in the hubs and continue home in front wheel drive .. guess i should now get out to the shed to fix it so i can enjoy this weekend.. lucky i have 2 spare hubs made up greased sitting waiting for this such occasion

managed to slip off the tracks yesterday arv at low speed as it was greasy as hell and was being carefull[not enough] only doing about 25/30 kph truck went for a slip slide about 2 m off track into a tree stump 2 ft high nearly that round straight under bullbar [just] and made a huge mess, hit front of the drag link and new adjustable panhard rod steering dampner ,inpact luckily hit front of left front suspension arm and has bent it badly but i think by it bending it my have saved bending the diff housing. happened so quick and easy ,glad i wasn,t doing normal speed through trese tracks. pics soon
