Well, we have had ours for a couple of weeks, and yes, it does fall off easy. you have to make sure your windscreen is clean, and the fog the window up with a bit of hot breath (lol, wheres the mrs...) and then push the holder onto the window, and then push the lil latch. When i put it in my bus, i usally attach the holder, and then leave the GPS out of it, if its there in ten minutes, and after a few tugs, i'll put the gps in it. its frustrating when it comes out, because of how much the unit is worth... You also need to make sure that its actully clamped properly in its holder, or the vibrations can kick it out as well.

Reddo, Are you useing the Magellan holder or the Ram brand?
I have a 600 which is smaller but the use the same mount with a different size holder. Iuse my holder all the time and it doesn't fall off, i have it stuck to the windscreen low enough that the bottum of the gpe holder is resting on the dash, this takes the wieght of the unit on the dash not the suction caps.

nah, the one that we have looks nothing like that one. It has a single suction cap, and has Hr design, patented, and made in germany painted all over it. Im pretty sure its the standard unit that came with our GPS
BUT my car is a 2H rattling 40 series softtop.... So it could be that lol

Yes, it falls off easy. I velcro'd the bottom to the dash and it seems to hold better.
