hi,

just wondering what people recommend to get started with these beasts? seems like there aren't anything that is for sale at a cheapish price anymore.

do people suggest just building from scratch :o and getting axles etc from something else?

any ideas or links that might help?

cheers,
Shem

OK heres an idea 4 u.:-
body-$60 + paint $10
ESC no limit-$100
Rims-$35
Tyres-$40
Servo's (motors that steer your wheels)-$45
Motors x 2-$40
Battery-$60
Controller-$100
sub total= $490 thats without chassie, shocks or diffs.
If you like i will part with my beast for $250 for all above in list + the rock crawler chassie. But no diffs or shocks. My chassie achieves 90' articulation and has 4 wheel steering. The chassie is also built in mind for multible set ups and shock positions.
