Hi Everybody,
Seeing a nice number of computer related problem posts, I thought I would post a link to a nifty little program that makes diagnosing GPS problems a little easier.
While you can use programs like Hyperterminal to look at the NMEA data coming in to a PC via com port, it's not ideal.

I use this program on my laptop, both for work and for play. I also install it on virtually all the PC's I work on, it makes finding com ports with NMEA data very easy. One of the many things I do at work is set up computers on fishing boats with chart plotting software (marine versions of Oziexplorer).
It also "decodes" the incoming data and displays it in a meaningful way.
