Bloody great invention those Butane/propane single burner stoves! thats all we use, just remember to take a can to bed with you cause on a cold morning they tend to freeze up and slow right down, if they are warm they go like a trooper!

Hope that helps,

Steve.

If you mean like the Coleman heater, yep i have one, and if it's cold i'm a puss and use it, I mean the missus wants it turned on. ;-)
Works a treat in the camper.
Was in Toowoomba last Winter wearing boardies and shirt in the camper whilst the heater was on, went outside and me spuds shrunk to the size of peas.

You really love ya cans dont ya Steve? :D

Oh yeah the single burners are great when there's not much wind around.
And dont put them back in the plastic case straight after you finished cooking:D

I use the single burner stoves but change to a gas bottle stove during winter cause even when you take the can to bed in the vic alpine on a cold mornig the bottle will freeze before your finished cooking.
Also the propane cans have different amounts of propane/ butane not all have it on the can but it pays to get ones with more propane(?) because they dont freeze as easy
