If you lower your tyre pressures when you go off road the tyre bead will easily pop of the 16x10 rims. It won't happen with a 16X8.

I had a set from wheelboyz in Narre Warren area when I had my troopy in 2000 16 x 10, 5 on 150 and ran 36 x 13 swampers on it.
They were blanks they machined and drilled to suit.

What tyres are you planning on running?
Most tyre retailers will be able to order them in.

I think i want those :) have you got any website for the retailers or the brand of the wheels so i can see and order?
you said they're machined but wouldn't that make the wheel weaker?
I live in the United Arab Emirates and we do mostly dune driving where i'll be running 33'' tires on those at about 8 psi ;)

i ran 36 swampers down to 5 psi on those rims, you could try http://www.wheelboyz.com.au/ as mine were american racing wheels, and it doesnt make them weaker, its just the centre is blank, and they machine them to suit hub/stud pattern, juts like manufacturer would.

barboor, you should be looking to the US as there are very few wheels of this type sold in Australia. The unique stud pattern and offset of the beam axle 78/79 series means they will be custom, as Darren said, in Australia.
