Maximise Your Handheld GPS with Street by Street Navigation
Magellan certified DiscoverAus Street by Street on SD card allows you to add street by street navigation with beep audio prompts to your Magellan eXplorist 400, 500, 600 or XL hand held GPS receiver.
DiscoverAus Street by Street calculates the shortest route based on speed limits and possible street paths, and can route to addresses, points of interest, waypoints or simply wherever you put your cursor on the screen.
Use it to navigate your way through city streets while on foot, bike or in a vehicle.
Street by Street Directions: After you enter your destination DiscoverAus Street by Street automatically calculates the shortest route*, giving you street by street directions that can be viewed on a map screen or in a route list.
Visual and Audio Prompts: As you approach a turn the unit will beep and a visual prompt will indicate the direction to turn and distance until that turn.
Extensive Points of Interest: DiscoverAus Street by Street includes thousands of Points of Interest that you can select for Street by Street to route to. Points of Interest include hotels, service stations, tourist attractions, parks, lakes, amusement and entertainment venues, restaurants and more.
Points of Interest Memory: DiscoverAus Street by Street stores the last 10 addresses or Points of Interest travelled to, allowing you to easily route your way back there from anywhere.
Active Street Route: Only one route can be active at any one time and it will stay active until the destination is reached or it is deactivated, even if the unit is turned off.
Rerouting: If you miss a turn you can simply reroute by pressing the GOTO route button and the reroute option that appears on the screen.
*Shortest time is based on posted speed limits but may not always be the fastest or easiest route. DiscoverAus Street by Street does not know about traffic conditions, road works and the like.
