hi everyone.
my name is adam, i'm 20 and i live in adelaide, SA. my fourbie is a '94 GQ LWB patrol, 4.2ltr EFI duel fuel.
i've only had it for six months now, but i can honestly say i'll never go back to a 2wd ever again!
i haven't done a great deal to it yet... i had the LPG fitted just after i bought it, since then i have had the suspension upgraded to OME coils and nitrocharger shocks, threw on some 240 lightforce spotties for good measure, and i'm just about to buy some 33x11.5" cooper st's. i've done other bits and pieces, but i don't really think they're worth mentioning!
i had the suspension lifted up 2"(the maximum you can do according to SA's laws), but i would have liked to have lifted it higher to accomodate the new rubber. i'm not too sure whether there will be any contact with the insides of the guards, if so i may have to get a 2" bodylift as well. is there anyone on the forum who has any input on this issue???
there is a fair few mods i want to do but i just need to save some more $$$.
i look forward to being part of this forum and can i just say that 4WD monthly magazine rocks :D
cheers
