View Full Version : 40 Series Faulty Flasher unit
The flasher unit in my 1981 Bj42 appears to have carked it. It dosn't appear to like most flasher units i have seen on previous cars (2wd) and i am guessing it would be expensive to replace using the same is there another option like E.g one made by hella or narva.
Thanks Dazz

Those guys at Autobarn are getting less helpful every time I hear of them.
I stopped visiting them a while back when an item they orderred for me came in as the wrong part 3 times in a row.
Finally got it in 6 weeks after the first one was due.
I think the service in most places is gettin worse I have another Large chain auto shop less than five minutes from home I would rather drive another 20 mins away to hopefully get some better service. Do they really think think crap customer service keeps customers coming back......I dont think so.
mmmmmm I feel better now........Dazz ;D

the two terminal flasher cans are the simplest you can get and any two terminal flasher can will do, you can get them nearly anywhere, as for the autobarn guy the saying goes pay peanuts and you get monkeys 8) 8) 8)

It is getting to be a big problem, shops get bigger and service goes down.
Bring back the small personal service shops.
