what brands/types of tyre would be best for use daily driven but something aggressive enough to handle the tuff trails. I was thinking of bajaclaws but would they wear out to quick (will be 35") on road?

I run the Wrangler MTR's daily and to date they have performed very well, no signs of exsessive wear either.
What are the MTR's like on the road in the wet and how much sidewall flex is there when aired down? I am wondering if they would be OK on a light vehicle like a Vitara.

I havnt had a chance to test the flex out properly yet, have aired them down to 25psi for some off road work last time and they worked out real well.
Latly the rain fall have been nearly mesured in Meters not millimeters, on my Disco they havnt been a problem in the wet.
A vitara is a lot lighter but

I am pretty happy with mine at the moment, but only have a few km clocked up.
I did think that the sidewalls seemed more flexible on these than the ones one I my mates showed me b4 I bought them, but thought that was due to him running higher pressures.

Goodyear MT/R
or
Pro Comp Xterran
If you can find one the Super Swamper SSR would be a good fit too....
