The phone doesn't work thru most of where we are going, but there will be a few occassions where we will have enough reception to receive a message etc.
I know I am under no legal obligation to respond to these during my break, but as a team, we have a small amount of our yearly bonus riding on the uptime of the company's computer systems, so to help protect that, we all try to be contactable in some way, even on our breaks.
