3in. body lift for 98IFS hilux

has anyone out there done a 3 inch body lift on a 98 hilux, if so what needed to be modified. ie radiator mounts, bullbar gearshift etc ???

Yeah a mate done it, exactly as you mention. The steering shaft is fine for 3"s. You'll just need to modify you gearsticks, radiator, and you'll be fine.

mate ive done a 2'' body on my 2000 IFS. for the 2 inch radiator doesnt need to be dropped, but for 3'' it does. bullbar just needs 3'' raised brackets.

the gearshirt would be awkward i would imagine with a 3'' cause you would lose 3'' of the height it is now.

I just extended the main gear shift with an 2" extension. Transfer leaver stayed the same with just a little grinding around the platre that clamps down on the boots.
