Hi,

Just a couple of starting questions.

What sort of 4WDing can I expect to be able to manage in my Nissan Pathfinder. While I don't expect to be taking it up 90degree walls or similar it would be nice to know what the car would be comfortable with. The clearance is only 200mm which hopefully I will raise with a 2" lift kit.

Does anyone know if you can actually get a lift kit for a 2003 Pathie?

Can you get a long range fuel tank to suit same car?

Any help is always with thanks
Craig

Hey Craig,
Your Pathy should get you through most "C" grade (Moderate) tracks without too much hassle.
As for a lift kit, see Steve from "The Edge 4wd accessories" (ARB Dealer) on Manns Rd West Gosford. He did the lift on my grey import using OME gear & I am pretty happy with it.
Long Range Tank, I don't know, but he (Steve) may.

Thanks for the advice. I've actually been down to The Edge - they fitted out my Twine Shower gear. Did such an excellent job on it, the guys at Twine wanted photos to prove it could be done to the Pathy!!

Nothing like being a guinea pig.

I'll drop by and ask them about the fuel tank next time I'm in Gosford.

Cheers
Craig
