I took this photo of a giant red cedar tree in July 04 on the Atherton Tablelands. We returned again in July 06 - Larry had left is mark.

my uncle works for ergon in NQ and had to go and survey the damage to electricity infrastructure after the cyclone.

Just to give you an idea of the size of this magnificent tree... Its not hard to see where the trunk snapped, but the most amazing thing is that the roots did not even move!
