Hi
I'm new to 4wdriving, I have a 2002 Jackaroo. Live in the Sydney area, and enjoy taking the family on tracks in the Sydney area.
I would like to hear from anyone who can tell me about some good tracks around Sydney/ Blue Mountains :) :)

Welcome Jackaroo.
I know of a few tracks out "Blue Mountains" way, but not too many as yet. One of my favourites is from near Sunnyside lookout back towards Newnes & this includes a few steps, small creek crossings & a bit of a rock climb on the way back out. If u r running a GPS & are using Oziexplorer, I can send u the track, waypoint & route files.
If u get a copy od the Boiling Billy publication - 4wd Treks close to Sydney, u will find most of the ones I have used & some.

G'day Jackaroo....My first bits of advise to a newbie are:
Invest in tow hools front & rear,
Buy a UHF CB - even a handheld,
Buy a snatch strap,
Get a First aide kit.....
Join a 4x4 club
And you'll be set to get out there & enjoying ya 4bee...
G'day Jackaroo.
