What, where and how big?

It appears to be the skull of a whale. The little hole that you see in the side appears to be an eye socket, and although it is hard to see in any of the pictures that I took, you could see quite clearly a vertibre at the base of the skull. It was on the western beach of Fraser last chrissy. Below is a picture to give it some scale........
