Hi,
Thought I’d say howzit at the appropriate place.
I’m based in a little town slightly West of Perth called Johannesburg.
I’m a Pommy whos been in South Africa for the last 10 yrs. I read Aus4WD Monthly because all the South African magazines are a waste of space.
I drive a South African spec 100 GX Petrol (4.5 litre 1FZ-FE) Cruiser – this is a real one ie it has solid axles front and back. I understand this is almost identical to the Aus spec 100 Series RV wagon which has recently been discontinued in petrol guise. The SA spec one comes stock with 3 difflocks. It’s a great vehicle.
Co founder of the LandCruiser Club of South Africa otherwise known as ‘Cruiserdom’ www.cruiserdom.co.za a nutty little crowd of maverick Cruiserheads.
Anyone wishes to know more there is small autobiography on the members profile section of the site and my Cruiser is the model for most of the Accessories shots.
ta ;D
