Hi Guys.
I have just created an NRL footy tipping comp in oztips for the forumites.
I know not all of you follow NRL, so if anyone wants to start one for their selected sport, go for it.

There is no cost involved & I reckon we could organise a prize of a Free Sticker for the winner (unless the mag wants to come up with something)

It is only in fun & as it doesn't cost anything, other than the time to actually put your tips in.
I am not putting the comp on to see who the best tipsters are, or to see which teams who follows (I have to keep a low profile at the moment with my team), but about a bit of friendly competition with pretty much everyone on a level playing field.

Last year I went in a tipping comp which was combined NRL & AFL & I know SFA about AFL.
In the end, I actually had a better tipping rate on the AFL than I did on NRL, which I have supported since I was a little bloke.

BTW if anyone wants to run an AFL comp, or they want me to put one on, I can do the too. Just let me know.

yeah, to get a satellite here at the mo, is too expensive.. although austar has put in a sort of expression of interest, to get set up here, if they get the numbers.. i've got my hand up..

Word of advice.....follow a sport such as womens netball or something similar 8)

The NRL can thank Souths for what might be a turn around in bringing the sport back from all the problems it is having at the moment. As a Souths supporter of 33yrs its rewarding to see them have ago and after last weeks game I still have a sore throat. Its up to Easter Monday for the Bunnies to prove that they can win away and as an omen it is Easter...
