I have just moved to Melbourne from Qld, and was wondering if anyone has any local knowledge on some good 4wding spots.

Also is there any 4wd parks down here??

We run regular trips down here. Just need to keep your eye on trips and touring and you will see trips run to Mt dissapointment (Dissa), Toolangi or Gembrook.

Any of us would be happy for you to come along

Lots of good 4wding around Melbourne. Alot of tracks are closed now until Melbourne Cup weekend.

Ahhh....the good old Spotty hotel ;D. I think everyone from the West has been there atleast once 8). If you haven't been there before tojoh, I highly recommend it on a Friday arvo (I wouldn't take the Mrs there though :o).

I'm from Hoppers Crossing which isn't far away from you & usually head over to Wombat for day runs on Sundays if you're interested ;).

I'm in Melton and I plan to go wheeling at Lerdederg/Wombat soon. We have a relative out from Polland and if he's keen I will take him out for a days drive. Anyone interested???????? maybe weekend after Ateco.

What's the driving like out there? I was living in Dales Creek and went into Wombat a few times but it was a bit steady. Haven't been to Lerdy though.


The Spotswood Pub.... My old man and Cousin took me in there when I was about 11 and the barmaid thought it was cute that I was so shy..... I'd never seen bloody boobs before, and they were MASSIVE. Still not game to venture in there after that, I may embarras myself hehe.

There's some good tracks out at Lerdederg that I know of and the potential to make a good track? I found a dry river bed ::) that with a little work clearing out some tree's it could be a good drive. The only problem at the moment its a seasonal closed track to get to the river bed. :(
