I dont have a lift kit or anything baby? Is it hardcore in there?

By the way who did ur lifts and how much?

Dont worry bout lift Chunckycharcoal (from this site)dosent have a lift, just good tyres (now he has a locker) he has no real probs.

Some fella in Kedron done mine he just works out of his shed I paid to much!(close to $2000) but if I had to do it again I will do it myself and would do it totally different

Yeah the snake bar is nice but I wanted to enclose the winch (when I get one) and I got a very good price, PM BrodieBuilt from this site he also has stuff at On Track 4x4 in Brissy.

Eh, look at the articulation in the front. My IFS hilux would have popped a front wheel off the ground long before that section!

Havent been off road with them yet but I have to get some bigger offset rims as they rub on the leafs. And i will have to hammer the gaurds a little.

nice rig there mate. the 34inch JT2's, are they a true 34inch diameter or are they actually 35inch?

what is the sidewall ply on those tyres if ya know. They look bloody tuff.

what are they like to drive on the black top? Noisy? does the steering wheel wobble heaps?

They are actullay 34.6"s. i think they are a 6 ply side wall.
Steering is not as bad as I thought it would be. Steering only wobbles when your at slow speeds and you can feel every lug hit the ground. Noisy you say? Well it sounds like a small prop plane 2 feet from your roof!!

Is that cruiser canyon? curious to see how you went. I have been up there a few times and only walked part of the canyon but have been advised against going through in an unlocked Hilux with only 2" lift and 32s.

I moved up north briefly and went out with Paul for a run to Ormeau and it was pretty good. Pm him and you will get a run with him any time.

Thanks mate, Yeah some of those pics are from the canyon. I rekon with a decent spotter you could get through there it would be tricky but I rekon you could do it.

Yeah I am thinking of going up at Christmas time with a few mates who are keen to pack rocks and navvy for me. Pretty keen to try Cruiser Canyon but whenever I go on a weekend there are so many twin locked monsters up there who would probably get annoyed with my slow progress on a track like that. I want to try to get there through the week when its a bit quieter.

From what I have seen walking the track I am confident I can make it by carefully choosing my lines etc but Ive been told theres a big step up at the end thats not open-centre friendly

hey fourxfour, mate don't worry about who else is in the canyon or what they drive, we all have to start somewhere. i have only done the canyon once and that was with babylux,boof,synergy and celtlux,on the same weekend those pic's were taken.it is the best track i have been on so far(more because of the tightness of it and the size of my patrol).
we didn't see another sole in ,on or near the canyon and that was a saturday......
i hope you give it a go, and take as much time as you need, you will be over the moon when you climb out the other end.

Yeah it was me Matt I now have both corner lamps and both rear lights and both spotties broken from wheeling. I might have to do something about it soon the old girl is starting to look abit crappy.

hey guys, got a nob question...
how can i explain it hmmmm!!

is Ormeu 4wd drive tracks are from the turn off at the water tower???

cos when i had my first lux went to gold gost for a few months of just partying (oh the memories) was hanging for some 4wding went for a drive dont know where i was (im from victoria) ended up driving into bushland up this road that lead to this water tower, wich came down to this parking area then it was caos from there??

Ihad a bog stok lux then and when i saw these tracks i shit!!! lol inbult rocks that climb up a hill for like 400mts gees u have to have some good flex to get by these obsticals!

sorry about lack of knowlage but just looks like it from all the pics,
