Bought my Rodeo Sport in late February 2001, with its build date being December 2000. Since purchasing it brand new, it has traveled 217,000km without a single mechanical problem. Recently replaced timing belt, water pump and all pullies and upon inspection of the timing belt, water pump and coolant it all looked brand new. Without a doubt the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. It’s a bit thirsty on fuel, apart from that an excellent vehicle and never let me down.
Looking to update soon tho and use the new one for family use. This time tho I'm leaning Nissan Navara ST-X TD way. Just think Rodeo's are currently behind with their TD engines, less powerful petrol engines and only 5 speed gearbox.
Anyway, the truck has always been fastidiously maintained inside and out. Been to a few 4wd shows and been assy enough to bring home a few trophies with it. By no means the best equipped or most capable 4wd, but it does the job I need it to without any problems.
