Yeah ur on the right track with the location. I was thinking about meeting up in sheffield somewhere then travelling up over mount claude to the power station then following the transmission line back for as far as we can. There are plenty of other foresty track about in the area if it doesn't go far enough ;)

Had to go up to lemonthyme today for work and really wasn't that impressed with the track. I managed to drive a 20ton truck along about 5-6 km's of it.

So i was maybe thinking about changing the location, to somewhere like smith and others road at sasafrass. Ive only been out there once before so it might just be a case of the blind leading the blind.......

Hey all glad to see so many Tassie 4b's on here..Now where abouts is this run that isgoing on is it cradle mt or smith and others or Launnie I sort of gotten lost , it would be good to meet a few of you guys that I have been watching over the last couple of months especially now I have a real 4b , the old Triton d/c(98 model) has been relegated to a work car now , I have a 85 60 series turbo diesel high mount and diff locked equipped 4b for play now so looking to really get off road , also have a friend with a 75 series winch and diff locked and he is keen as well...let me know when and where and what time......cya in the bush Trip...... P.S. I'll post some pic's of all my toys when I get the chance....

Umm :-\ generally when u do a body lift the steering wheel should stil be where its supposed to be :-\

the steering is bolted solid to the chassis in the 40 series so as the body goes up the steering wheel comes down. it has no adjustment.

Hey guys, sorry been away! Sounds like the plans have all changed but thats cool. So it's now 9.30am at kmart in launi? Just hope the rocket get fixed in time. Blew the front main seal a coup;e of sundays ago and flew out the next morning so no chance to fix it yet. It goes in wednesday tho so fingers crossed. yer night trip was after their play in the mud, (unfortunatley couldnt go during the day due to work), the night trip was good. Run by the devonport 4wd club, nuttin to serious i believe some of the WIDER vehicles had some slight hassles in the tight stuff other than that nothin to serious.

Thanks diehard, but i am in Devonport..... if your coming to Devonport good, but if not will get it of you next trip..... have not been to Hobart for a while now , spent alot of time on the west coast 4wd, but would like to have a trip down south...... southport would be good!!!!when its open... 8)
