I have never heard of this ever happening, but last night some idiot stole the shocks of my hilux >:( All 4 rs9000s gone! If they had any brains they would've taken my tyres. five 35inch muddies are a better and easier thing to steal than shocks! What an idiot! Has anyone else had their shocks stolen?

i've heard of some guys taking a car from a car yard for a test drive years ago, same make as one of their own to change over some faulty parts. apparently you could test drive without a dealer or something, (think it was a secondhand yard). they were parked around the corner and did a quick parts swap and returned the car.

I had to change the tie rod ends on my 60 once...had all the gear out and went inside to grab a drink...when I came out the steering dampner was GOOOONE.
Who would steal a second hand dented steering dampner??? Gave me an excuse to buy a better one anyway. ;D

I saw the shock boot was missing, then i thought hang on if thats the case where's the piston of the shock? I thought some how it just fell off, so I thought i'd better check to see if the others were loose and thats how i noticed em all gone. Kinda funny in the way that i've never heard something like that happen before, but still not impressed! Now i cant afford rs9000s so i had to buy 5000s instead! Once again not impressed!
