Thought i may as well post up.
I have an '87 HJ75 Troopy.

As purchased in January '06 for $2800, including broken rings and scored bore in #6, with 434k on the clock. It came with F+R Detroit soft lockers, 2.5" exhaust/extractors, twin tanks, twin batts, seats in the back (unengineerd), Bostrom seats in the front, fresh gearbox, reset springs (HEAVY!), OME shackles, Koni's and a bunch of spares. Ohh, and some bog ;)

Since then i've replaced the engine (rebuilt inc. pump/injectors), replaced seals/brakes/lights and removed rear seats for roady, added the ARB bar, Safari snorkel, XGT's, ARB loom + 190/150W IPF fatboy's, Icom UHF and a lil' stereo. I'm in the process of making a new rear bar, and recently got the 34" JT's. I've also got a Thomas PTO winch in the shed waiting to go on. I've done a bit of tidying up, as well as left a few bruises.

Flex is far from magical (seemingly less than stock) but the lockers make up for it for now. I'm really impressed with the JT's everywhere but rock (though i havn't run <18psi).
So there she is. Smells like arse but i still love her.

How much have i spent? Hmmm... :-[
Think with tyres/rims (~$1500) but without bar/lights/radio (which i already had) i've spent around 13k, rego'd and insured. Sounds like heaps when you consider market value is $7500, but i've got a fair bit of gear, and an engine/gearbox that will last another 20 years. Brakes/bearings and seals in the axles, radiator, w/pump, balancer etc are all new too- that's how i justify it anyway.

No lift on the body. Springs have been reset and had a leaf added by previous owner, at a guess 50mm at absolute max (probably more like 25mm). The front isn't quite reaching full flex - if it were, i suspect the tyres would scrub a little. The rear tyres scrub very slightly on the chassis rails.

Engine is an NA 2H. Turbo is a fair way down the list.

The interior is stripped out at the moment. I'm going to move the barrier forward a few inches and set up a simple storage system/false floor, so i can sleep in the back.

what track is that?

It's a track off project road in Narbethong (not project rd in toolangi). Don't know the name sorry. Fun little hill, though not a huge challenge with a locker or power.

hehe lil snorkel

You can have it ;)
