Meeting again at the Sparks rd interchange on the F3.
8:30am meet for a 9am leave
Bring- Lunch, Drinks, 4B ( ) etc
Expect a variety of tracks, but lots of support from others if you get stuck.
No plans to take on any (well, too much) damage.
If there is enough interest, Ashlee (Mrs) and I are thinking of spending the night and doing a few more hours on the Sunday aswell.

Yep simple, You'll be fine. We had an 80 with A/T's no lift, a stock 60 and a stock disco last trip, so you'll be fine in the GU.

Hi, I'm new here and very keen to tackle the Watagans. I have a GQ LWB std at the moment yet have purchased a 3" lift kit goin to fit tomorrow. Just wondering considering how much this 4.2 petrol engine sucks......is 80lts enough for this trip?
Are there any servos after the meeting stop?
At estimate how many kms are we goin to cover?
Are there any other GQ petrol Patrols coming?

There is a couple of seros around the area that you can fill up before we leave. I've got a petrol guzzler to and feel your pain. :D
BTW 80 litre should be enough depending on the tracks but I usually use about 60 litres in mine and that averages 30 litres to 100km driving like Miss Daisy. :o

Full tank should be fine in the GQ. Infact, you prob won't even need that. There are servo's etc close by too.
Not sure of the names of the tracks, but if you guys want to lead, you're more than welcome!!

I don't really know Sean because it's the first time i've been to the south end of the watigons. Although I do know that when we got to the top of it we where only about 500 metres from Smoco corner which we did after that in the dark.

He needed a couple of snatches but it was only because he was to lazy to let his tyres down. :D I did most of the tracks in 2wd so they wheren't real hard tracks.
Most of those tracks have chicken tracks around all the big holes too.
