View Full Version : Tassie meetup run and won.....DIAL UP WARNING

03-06-2006, 10:55 PM
Some pics from today. Had a bit of a forum meetup as a result of the "bash around the bush" thread. Had a few blokes in tow. No major carnage to report. Mark broke a CV in the surf, I developed a diff leak, and Ben caught the sausages on fire.

Hey guys, checked out the tracks out up around lemonthyme power station on saturday and there's a good power line track that looks ok. Didn't follow it all the way but looks like it would be a good 1, lots of water! ;D

The track into wolfram mine itself is pretty easy but very over grown and the last 3-4k's are unaccessable by 4x4 due to some very large 3-4 meter deep washouts.

I'd definately be keen to go back up there in the ol lux a try the powerline track tho. ;)

Top pic's guys, looks like you all had a ball.

Tassie tracks rule! So many in such a small place. You's are lucky.
Cant wait to get over there for a couple of weeks.
