My name is Matt from Trail Craft. I drive a Nissan patrol coil cab(work truck). Also have a modified CJ (not much of it is CJ). Just starting to built a tube buggy - single seater.

Yes I was the spotter at xrcc.

The specs on the jeep are:
GQ diffs 4.6 ratio with ARB's
5 link front
3 link rear
5.2L chrysler V8
torque flight auto
dana transfer
twin stick
range rover rails
38" tyres
tubular back, soft top
LGP & petrol
lots of dent and scratches
a crapy paint job

the buggy you are refering to at xrcc is not a CJ, its a full tube buggy.

Matt what dana t/case you got in the CJthing?
Have you lowered the ratios?


I've got a Dana20 in my CJ and I'm considering getting the 3.8:1 Teralow.

got a dana 20 standard ratio the terra one I priced was about $3000 I believe you can use early bronco gears which is 2.7 to 1 but they are hard to get.
