5 factory Nissan alloy rims with 285/75/16 Cooper stt's for sale.I would like $500 per rim and tyre.These tyres have about 90% tread on them.I'm in the Sydney area.

What's the price on a new set of ALLOY wheels from Nissan? I know they're not cheap :-\....

I think that the rims from Nissan are about $800 dollars each, and the tyres are about $340 each.$2500 for the lot.So no I'm not joking.

I was quoted just under $950 for a single Nissan Factory Rim when looking to get a 2nd spare for a Cape York trip. Ended up with a silver steel rim which looks similar - for $100. So $500 is probably a fair asking price, although I doubt they wiull sell at this price.

God knows where companies get their prices from, when you can buy brand new bling Mickey Thompson chrome rims like Twisty's etc for less than a third of that for example.

Good luck selling none the less.

Isnt it amazing how many people like to kick tyres round here....if you dont want to pay the $$ for them, then you obviously dont need them....keep your opinions and your coins to yourself...

my dad about a year ago bought 16 inch genuine toyota 100series Land cruiser rims.(no rubber) like a week old... got them for 50 bucks each...

I Bought these rims for $1500 stipped the tyres off and cleaned up the rims and sold them for $1400 (rims only) To the first person that looked at them. I was only interested in the tyres but know very well the price of genuine rims. Not bad to get 5 cooper stt tyres 4 with 90% tread and the 5th one new for a $100 . All you people that make stupid offers and knock people trying there best to get as close as possible to their asking price should keep your worthless opinions to your self and if you are genuinely interested in something go and inspect the item and be prepared to put your money where you MOUTH is. in other words PUT UP OR SHUT UP!!! >:( >:( >:(

I agree with everything you said and i read all the posts on this topic at $1500 they were cheap.

However moderators of this forum should look at banning/locking all replys and keep that thread locked i.e. like outerlimits as most of the stuff posted in classifieds is complete rubbish and people post there opionion regardless if it would contribute to the sale or not.

I didnt want to post on this reply but i think people should realize stupid offers or offers alone should be done via pm only. And if you want to start conversation about how well these tyres are or to that effect start it else where its a large forum.

So basically, you did not pay the original or even close to the original asking price of $2500. Do you think you would have still got a great bargain at that price? Would you have still payed it? Bit hypocritical of you if you say no, as that was the price that everyone criticised to begin with, that same price you did not pay either.

No i didnt pay full price but i didnt make ridculous comments i got off my arse and drove out and looked at them which is more than any of the typical tommy knockers do that surf around these forums doing little more than putting shit on any 1 and every 1. ::)

another member of this board sold a set of 5 for $2200 with used OEM tires on them.... They are over $800 new each.

few sets have gone on ebay for $1800 for rims alone.
