I have a fourby but also have a little 250 yamaha to get me around sydney if i dont have to use the fourby...

Being a motorbike rider i look out for bikes just out of habit...
but others can u please keep an eye out for motorbikes. i know they can be a pain but there are some of us who arent.

I say this because on my way home today just going through a residential area i was turning through a sweeping left hand corner and this fourby decided to cut the lane.. It didnt see me what so ever..

He only realised that i was there when he was heading straight for me. Luckily i did not get run off the road as he swerved to his left and i was able to sneak in just between the gutter and his car..

We both werent doing high speed probably about 40 45 but its just the fact that he didnt see me so guys please watch out for motorbikes...they arent that bad..

had a similar experiance once but only the other way around. went to pull up at traffic lights and the car in front was turning right (two lanes each way, with cars parked along the left hand lane) so i went to hop in the left lane only to have a bike come up the left hand side of me as i was still moving, lucky for him i caught a glimpse of him when i checked my mirror. the clown pulled up in front of me and couldn't understand why i was shacking my head at him, he started to shake his head like the wanker he was which made me wish i hadn't seen him and run him over instead. unfortunately just like fourby's you only remember the dickheads out there.

It won't be your last close call rumpig......there will be more especially in Sydney. You get drivers who hit other cars that say 'I just didn't see them', how the hell will they ever see a bike? Just one of those things mate. As was told to me..... if you ride a bike you must be prepared to come off whether it be your fault or someone elses, you just wanna hope it's not serious. It happened to me, a bloke did a u turn in front of me..........3 months off work....never saw me. Mate of mine......dead in a seperate accident....take it easy mate.

I'll keep a look out , but if the riders are prepared to pass on the left, bike lanes and lane spit through moving traffic then rider beware. Matters are made worse when I have this to deal with these idiots .when driving a well liveried truck with the company number in huge print. If each driver drove as they expected others maybe there wouldn't be a problem with this.
