Any photoshop nuts know if there's a way to reduce the grey overlay on pictures like that from the fog/mist in the air?

Nemesis try playing with selective colour adjustment layers. You can warm up the neutral selection a little. Generally if I have to fix a pic I use adjustment layers as they don't effect the pic in a "final" you can always go back and adjust some more etc. Also sometimes you may find that readjusting the white point with a curves layer can help to.

Here is a quick adjut, obviously better to do it from the original file rather than a jpeg but gives you a bit of an idea
