Gday!!! A newbie!!!!
Nice to meet you!
Um, well this year is my 6th kidney 4wd (agh! I feel so old!, you'll laugh at that in a few months, I promise)
It is great, the people are great, the places are great, we are the greatest team, i mean um........
Fundraising tips: reverse deb ball has always worked! Where are you from? jump on the stalls at some of the shows, we will be at all the Melb shows from here on in. Sell your tickets, call on sponsors. All that sort of thing.
PM me if you want more details but you've probably been told most of it by now.
As for vehicle prep: DON'T FORGET TOILET PAPER and no florals, scented or multi-ply!!!
See you on it!!

Bbushy,
Pete is going with wife and children - I'm (unfortunately) not going this year but am aiming for 2005.
Will definitely see you & your team mate at the start!
Just got back from the Xtreme Rock Crawling event. Pete & I spent the weekend with MMM & Turtle.
Bad luck for Victoria as Cheezy tried to bounce up a step and broke something like an auto housing or possibly a transfer case big time.
hey Bbushy.. the bloke in the cruiser there with the GM number plates wouldn't happen to be a panel beater by the name of graham mckay would it.. from forster NSW??
truck looks familiar!

Yes he is as you describe - If the person you are referring to has an unbelievable ability to have fun! (And buy new Turbo's)
lol.. yeah sounds like him!
he's also incredibly fast with a tow truck, I had a stack in forster years ago and im sure he arrived before i managed to get out of the car...lol
he got the buisness of course ;D

Shame you won't be there chris but will be good to catch up with you at the start. Dad's navigating for his first time this year so god knows where we end up. Like i told him i got him to the cape and back on my first trip and i didnt get him lost so if he gets us lost he is walking, and you know me, I will make him walk.
I think we are the only one that hasnt met petes family, but looks like now i might be able to raise a few more hundred from the hair if they are there!!! ;D
Yeah croozer thats Goog, like chris said, and he is an absolutely unbelievable bloke. He's got us out of the "poo" a few times and saved miriods of other people too. But yeah its him and he is "a bloody fantastic bloke".

Leaving on Thursday chris, finally organised all dad's gear so looks like we'll be there. Havin probs finding somewhere in Lismore to stay but Dawn said Pete is opening the SHAKEN NOT STIRRED HOTEL MOTEL so its an option.
We are leaving yeah either wed or thurs doing the border fence, wyperfeld and up there on the way then leavin our group sunday morning and heading up. Staying at georgees and picking him up and moving up to stay at Mr McKay's in Forster so they'll be unbearable with the three of them together, before we even get there!!
Look forward to seeing you on the Tuesday (or Wednesday) night!!
