Down the freeway to sparks road come to a stop (TR) go up to hue hue road (TL)on to hue hue road head DOWN to you see the dead center on your RIGHT (TR )at dead center i mean cemetery and head up the road till you see MUCULATA ROAD on your left it is about mmmmmm 13 km up ? on the road mate, see GATE head up and take the first (TR) head up the track to a open area and you will see the start of the track to the ZIG ZAG ;Don your RIGHT.

I don't know the tracks personly but Steve did some of them with open diffs so a troopy with a locker should do these tracks alright. ;)

Even than the only reason it got towed was because I put a hose clamp on my transmission hose the wrong way and it wore threw my radiator hose. :-[ Thats why I stay away from mechnics. ;)

It now appears I am out of the trip... :'( :-[ I went for a night run late last night upto Sugarloaf to rescue a mate and drove into a drainage canal across the track. The result is a bent bullbar and mangled mounts, wrecked front quarter, cracked grill and dinted bonnet. I'm really not having a good run with my truck lately. I would still come but the bullbar has been bent into the wheel arch so cant articulate the front wheel without scrubbing my tyres on it, also the fan is scrubbing on the shroud under torque plus I now have to find some money to replace the panel (use the booral trip money) :'( :-[

I've decided to take the truck off the road until the watagans run in June just to get it all in order. It's a bit of a mess at the moment. Spewing guys I cant come but that is the risk you take when you go offroad I guess :-\

Have a great time and take heaps of pics, I was keen as for the trip too as I've never been to booral before.

Yeah she's draining me a bit at the moment Mick, I cant seem to go out without breaking something or something busting :-\ Yeah I pulled my mate out alright, He was stuck in a small bog hole for 4.5hrs at freezing temps so he was pretty grateful when I showed up. He was on the powerlines track right near sugar valley golf course. It'll be ok but, this luck would have to continue for 9 ears for me to start to think I should sell the rig :D

Numbers have dropped I am not going to run the trip to booral but we are going to the watagans on the weekend 20/21 to look at some new tracks that look good and add them to the list for future trips.

i will be up there all weekend Steve, we will have to catch up. we will be camped at casurina (arriving early sat am)
and will be on UHF 15. would be keen to tag along on some tracks with you guys.

I had to go in Bowies truck because my new hubs still hadn't come in yet.

BTW did Tony have those bits for your suzuki? ???

nope, still using the photocopies, they have a fair bit of colour now, where ive used marker pens to mark all the good tracks
