Okay, after retyping this whole post after my login timed out, here is some details about my Party.
This weekend the 25th and 26th feb i'm having a Party beside the Campaspe River near Bendigo, aka Barnadown Rapids, to celebrate my 20th birthday, but really just a good excuse to get together and have a few drinks and a good time. All Welcome.
Rock up anytime on saturday, i'll be there all weekend.
Bring all the usual camping gear: tent, swag, chair, food, alcohol. although i have bought a few slabs to shout everyone, unless you're only planning on having a couple of drinks it might pay to bring reinforcements, cos i'm not sure how long my supplies will last.
Another note, there are no toilet facilities there, infact no facilities at all, no drinking water etc. so come prepared.
Depending on Total Fire Ban restrictions, we may or may not be able to have a BBQ, hopefully we can.
Bring swimming gear, it's an awesome spot for a swim there, from the calm slow moving river just down the bank from camp to the rocky rapids near the concrete dam wall, it's all good fun.
How to get there??? i hear you ask.
It's on Rocky Crossing Rd. off Elmore - Barnadown Rd 5 k's ESE of Goornong, which is 30 minutes NE of Bendigo.
See how you go looking that up on an internet map site, let me know if you have trouble.
Hope to see some of you's there.
Cheers,
Dan.
