Hi guys.

If everyone wants to, why dont we have a qld - nsw meetup at rover park. And if we get enough people I will try and get a little comp going.

Ok. What date would suit everybody. Sometime next year, on a long weekend prefered.
Round june/july or is that too far away.
If anyone has suggestions for entertainment (other then watching 2Brutal breakdown) please suggest it.

I will go down to rover a few weeks prior to the date and have look around get some for courses and such.....Only if people are interested in having a little comp......

Instead of going off in seperate ways, I would like to try and get everyone going off 4wding at once.

By june I will be on my learners and have a capable zook, so that will be good.

So what does everyone think.

Rover Park already hosts "Battle of the States " competition on the June long weekend. While it's open to anyone, members of this forum have met up and competed the last two years. Might save you a lot of effort if you come to this comp instead ;) I'm sure there will be a few of us there. Blu125 from this forum is an event co-ordinator :)

"If people are interested"

Is it because I dont have 3000 useless posts?

It was meant to be an interstate meetup. Nothing special.

Midnight.....

1. I don't think that anyone was unapreciative of your idea of a Qld/NSW meetup. I just think that a few of us have done it a couple of times before and we think that the 2006 Battle of the States could, maybe, satisfy your first post. If you don't think this is suitable & you want to do something different, then just let me know what you want to do & I'll do my best to help you.

2. 3000 useless posts? You are probably right. I probably haven't learned much about 4WDing since 1975 when i bought my first new Suzi LJ50. BTW that was 35 years ago. Since then I have spent a little bit of time administering, promoting, adjudicating........& even competing in most forms of Motor Sport, from karts to......4WDs, with stops in Flat Track M/Cycs., Rallying, Sports Sedans, (lovely little Alfa 105), 125 gearbox Karts et al..

Between Emu Creek (which I co-managed for the receivers) & Rover Park, I have promoted about 20 4WD events in 6 years. I can go on & on about my involvement in the sport I love, but I think, like Charlie Wenzel, you aren't really listening.

I need many people to help with the running of the BotS. If you want to come and help, (and learn), you would be very welcome.

I am serious....& appreciate what you wnt to do..... ;)

Mate, at least I have a registered vehicle and a license, even running as rough as it was it would still run rings around you. ::)

Good point 2Brutal,

Midnight how will you get down there on both occasions when you are only on your learners?

Cheers

Anyone looking for a play......I'm taking the Casino 4WD Club to Chrystalvale 4WD Park for the first weekend in December.

Anyone interested?

Chrystalvale is near Murwillumbah.
