I made up some sliders for the Patrol on the weekend with the help of my dad and his gear at work. I wanted sliders on with no sidestep component so went for a basic design. As you can see, they have come up really good looking but tough as nails.

I used RHS 100x50x3 for the main rails and bits and pieces for the supports. High tensile bolts - 4x3/8 for the rear mount and 1x3/8 for the front mount. I have only sprayed them with Killrust at the moment and will be touching up with any old spraypaint as needed (after every trip knowing the way I drive ::) )

All up they cost me about $140. They have turned out better than I expected and look fantastic.
