Attached is a pic of what we have built for those stops for a quick cuppa & a sandwich.
It folds up quite neatly & when open has a compartment for cutlery, sugar portions, teabags etc.

Pic has been sent to alternate site

We have a board which slides in the end of the fridge slide, no packing up anything to slide fridge out.

I don't have a fridge yet, but when I do it will either take the place of the rear passenger seat or will be on the passenger side in the rear cargo area.
That will mean I will have to redesign my storage shelves as I think I will need an extra inch or so height to get it in on runners.
Fridge is due around October this year if all goes to plan.

I use a 60lt on slides one side, and a big bottom drawer and smaller top drawer other side to hieght of fridge, with a false floor above the lot, and packing room down each side, keeps fridge low, and food and cooking gear goes in the bottom drawer, with bowls, cups cutlery etc in smaller top drawer.

Sounds like it would work well Darren.
Do you have any pics so I can get some ideas on my new design. I will be starting to plan within the next month, that way I should not have too many surprises. ;)

This was troopy setup, prado will be similar but fridge on other side. If you look in the roof of the troopy you will see the mezzanine floor which dropped down too, had 180mm of space to roof for bedding, coats, boots, etc up out of harms way.

The table slid into the ends of the square tube for the fridge slide and was width of fridge square, big enough to boil billy or make sanga's.

I think I can do something quite similar.
Even though I have a Prado, it is a LJ70 which is something in between a bundy & a troopy.
My barn doors are same size as troopy, so should be good. :)

Where did you get your drawers made Darren?
or did you do it yourself?
Thats basicaly excactly what I want in the back of my cruiser.
Most of the mainsteam drawer makers seem to think that the fridge MUST go on top!

I had the same problem, so made my own. Just measured got the stuff folded and assembled. Cost me $750 in materials and 2 days of my time. I did them all except fridge slide in alloy.

If you look really really hard, you will see swampers on the troopy, the AT's are in the back....... One is on the back, as it wouldnt fit in so I put it on the spare to transport it.

AT's make more smoke than MT's anyway....... ;D

On the 4o series you had, it would not matter what the rubber was, you'd be smokin' anyway. ;D ;D
