Well aside from the new dent in the fuel tank bash plate and several large scratches in the duco, it was a top day!
Probably the most rugged terrain the vitara's been into yet but she handled it o.k. There was a moment or two when stradling some rather menacing rocks :-\ And we all know the gut wrenching crunching noise as you hang your fourby up on a rock! All in all I was very impressed with the vitara's performance, apart from having pretty ordinary tyres that filled with sand too quickly and possibly lower than i would like ground clearance which meant for the first time in the four years I've had her she had to be pulled out of a sand rut :'(. Never mind, new tyres and new suspension in the not too distant future should see me crawling over rocks the size of a sierra ;D (or not)
